At the AGM of the Society it was reported that the orchestra has recruited several new playing members bringing the total up to 54 (plus 20 friends and occasional players). The orchestra presents 8 concerts per year and has planned programmes up until November 2002. The orchestra has given some £1500 to charity during the past year.
